With this rule we want to motivate the teams to train all 3 maps.
Last year it was possible to win a match and gain 3 points by winning only 2 maps.

I don't see your problem, and it is definitely not a stupid rule.
If you want to flame us, then send a mail to RC@tmtournament.com and swiss@tmtournament.com

And it is definitely not possible to get to playoffs if you lose all matches, because you get -1 point if you lose win only 1 map.

I hope I could help you with your "problem" with our very very stupid rule...

This rule is really fair, because you receive a point for each map you win. When you win 4 matches with 2-1 you have won 8 maps. That's the same amount as if you win 2 matches with 3-0 and lose 2 matches with 1-2. In other words this rule means you get what you deserve. Besides that, when it's 2-0, it's still worth to drive the last map (for both teams). This makes matches exciting till the end and it's more fun to watch and drive. I hope you see now the essence of this rule.
