Rules for forfeit

How come if a team forfeits in the middle of a tournament their results all get changed to defwins?

For my team that means we now longer have any chance to advance to the playoffs. Which feels kinda unfair since we did beat a team who has now forfeited. While others who lost against them now have practicly gained +4 and +6 points for a match they lost.

I coulnd't find anything about this in the rules. Thats why im bringing it up.

I noticed the same thing. I was expecting the Group A standings (by tournament points) going into Round #5 to be:

1. YYT: 12
2. AR: 4
3. OWN: 0
4. FV: -2
4. JMT: -2
6. R5: -12

Which would have made the final round match between us and OWN determine which clan gets the 2nd spot and advances to the playoffs.

yeah i also agree that what has happened with this situation is rediculous..... i belive u should change the stats back 2 how they were and then give the team that races the forfeited team a 3-0 win for round 5, not a 3-0 for everyone in the division.... please admin do something about this.

o and also didnt YYT get penalty point in round 3 for no screens, so they would only have 14 and not 15 points yeah? i mean i know this changes absolutley nothing, but woudl still be nice 2 follow the rules that have been layed out. wink

Hey,

I understand your situation, but it's not fair if some teams lose against a forfeited team and others recieve 3 points without even playing against them. The most fair thing to do is give everyone a def-win or remove all the matches of the forfeited team.

About the penalty-points, these points aren't used as map-points. When a total of 8 penalty points is reached, the team will be disqualified. So all teams that aren't active, will be ruled out.

Well RC, is not really fair if a team win against a forfeited team and others recieve 3 points for losing against them.

yes the fair way would just leave it all how it was and then give JMT a loss 0-3 for round 5, u didnt disqualify OWN when they missed first match? so y disqualify JMT when they miss one.....

em i think it's the right place to post it

captain of eVolution team said that they give up and they won't come on our match
these words proved by screenshot in our topic
but the result isn't entered into the results table, why it's not entered?
